LCW Labs
Terms of Service
These terms apply to Server Alerts cloud and self-hosted subscriptions. By creating an account, starting a trial, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these terms.
Effective 18 August 2026.
Important monitoring notice
Server Alerts is an operational companion to a supported monitoring system. It is not a replacement for the monitoring system, an emergency service, or a guarantee that every event will be delivered. Customers should retain appropriate monitoring, escalation, backup, and business-continuity arrangements.
Accounts and authorised use
You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, protecting credentials, using multi-factor authentication or organisation sign-in where available, and ensuring that invited users are authorised to access each site. You must not attempt to access another customer's data, interfere with the service, or use it unlawfully.
Subscriptions, sites, and seats
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance through Stripe. A cloud site licence covers one monitored site and includes one site user seat. Additional users are licensed per site: a person with access to two licensed sites consumes one seat on each site. Self-hosted plans include the quantities shown at checkout or in an agreed order.
Pricing, quantity discounts, and fair-use details are published on the pricing page. Taxes may be added where applicable.
Trials and manual licences
Trials and complimentary licences may be limited by time, sites, seats, or features. LCW Labs may modify or end them where necessary. They do not automatically convert into paid subscriptions unless you complete a purchase.
Renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the selected billing interval until cancelled. The customer account owner can manage payment details, invoices, and cancellation through the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period unless Stripe or LCW Labs states otherwise. Access is not prorated merely because a site or seat is unused.
Payment failure and grace period
If payment fails, LCW Labs may provide a limited grace period while payment is corrected. During or after that period, affected paid entitlements may be restricted or suspended. Manual licences and active trials are handled separately and are not silently replaced by Stripe billing records.
Self-hosted deployments
Self-hosted customers are responsible for their broker host, operating system, network security, public HTTPS endpoint, certificates, database operation and backups, disaster recovery, administrator access, and timely installation of supported updates. LCW Labs remains responsible only for the hosted control-plane and relay functions expressly included with the subscription.
Availability and changes
LCW Labs will use reasonable care to operate Server Alerts reliably and securely, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Maintenance, third-party outages, customer infrastructure, monitoring-platform behaviour, mobile operating systems, email providers, and internet connectivity can affect service. Features may evolve, and material changes will be communicated where practicable.
Data and privacy
Personal and operational data is handled as described in the privacy policy. Account deletion can be requested through the deletion request page. You remain responsible for ensuring that monitoring data and user access supplied to Server Alerts are lawful and appropriate.
Support and acceptable use
Support is available at support@lcwlabs.app and through the support page. Fair-use limits protect the shared service from excessive traffic, abusive automation, or workloads materially outside ordinary monitoring operations. LCW Labs may ask a customer to reduce unusual usage or move to an agreed plan.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Server Alerts is supplied without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. LCW Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss caused by missed alerts, customer configuration, third-party services, or unsupported systems. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under Australian law.
Changes and contact
LCW Labs may update these terms as the service develops. Material updates will be identified by a revised effective date. Questions can be sent to support@lcwlabs.app.
